Volunteers

Join Our Team of Volunteers

Volunteer effort is highly prized and we aim to ensure that volunteers are properly valued and that their work is both meaningful and worthy. We have a team of active volunteers who work anything between 1 hour and 2 days per week in a wide range of roles including stewarding, creating materials and displays and organising activities for children.

Some of the benefits to you of becoming a volunteer at The Environment Centre include:

  • having fun and meeting a variety of people;
  • learning and developing new skills;
  • practising skills;
  • the chance to make a difference to the local environment and contribute to the local community;
  • work experience and references; and
  • support to engage in environmental issues that affect you.
