Carbon dioxide emissions can be cut by using less electricity. For instance, if everyone in the country turned off their TV standby switch, enough would be saved to power Birmingham!

Much electricity can be saved by ensuring our homes are well insulated - cutting CO2 We all know how heating costs are rising! emissions and, what is more, saving money.
