Description:

Someone who can talk to visitors: answer questions, reflect their concerns, or point them in useful directions for further information.

Our visitors are diverse, from small children to great-grandparents, of many cultures and backgrounds. They come in groups or on their own, and you may well be the first person connected to environmental issues they have ever talked to. It’s important for you to find a way to enthuse them about helping the environment. If every visitor leaves and makes a small change at home or work, for example by changing to energy efficient light bulbs or recycling their paper and cardboard, you will have helped make a step forward in reducing waste and developing a sustainable planet. With support and discussion from others who care about the environment you can learn about solutions, campaigns and new technologies.
