The Environment Centre is committed to raising awareness and understanding of environmental issues. Through enjoyable educational activities, exhibitions, literature and our facilities, we work with local communities to encourage behavioural and lifestyle changes for a sustainable future.

Since 2002, we have become a focal point for the community of High Wycombe and beyond to investigate environmental issues. We provide opportunities to discover ways of ensuring a sustainable future such as:

• a programme of environmental exhibitions and events
• educational activities for children and adults
• an affordable meeting space for local environmental and community gropus
• a base for fields studies; and
• a range of meaningful volunteering opportunities.

Volunteers are vital to our success. Our teams of volunteers help to welcome visitors to The Centre and get involved in a range of activities such as designing and creating exhibitions, publicity, marketing, fundraising, administration and building maintenance.
